This privacy policy explains how Danny Cardenas ("we," "us") collects, uses and shares information when you visit this website (the "site"), Danny's personal website. By using the site, you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you fill out a contact or booking form, we collect what you enter, such as your name, email address, phone number, company or organization, event details and your message.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, the site and the services that run it automatically collect basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring website and approximate location. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies.
How we use your information
- To reply to your inquiries, booking requests and messages.
- To run, maintain, secure and improve the site.
- To understand how visitors use the site.
- To comply with the law and protect our rights.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We use trusted third-party services that may process information on our behalf, including:
- Squarespace, which hosts the site and provides basic analytics.
- FormSubmit, which delivers form submissions to us.
- Cloudinary, which delivers the videos on the site.
- Google Fonts, which delivers the site's typefaces.
These providers only use your information to provide their services and are subject to their own privacy policies.
Purchases and outside links
Books, including Jaguar Boy, and other products are sold through Stan (stan.store), and some links go to partners such as Jobber. Some of these are affiliate links, which means Danny may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. When you click through, you leave this site, and the other company's privacy policy applies to anything you share with them, including payment details. We never receive your full payment information.
The site also links to the Wila app on the Apple App Store, to Open Trades, and to social platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Facebook, which have their own privacy practices.
Cookies
Cookies help the site work and help us understand traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work as well. The site does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals.
How long we keep information
We keep form submissions only as long as needed to respond to you and for reasonable business records, then delete them.
Your California privacy rights
If you live in California, you may have the right to know what personal information we have about you, to ask us to correct or delete it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing (we do not sell or share it). We will not treat you differently for using these rights. To make a request, email us at the address below. We may need to confirm your identity before responding.
Children
The site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information, but no website or online service can guarantee complete security.

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
